history of paper at Lozoya's valley

We have conducted an investigation about the handmade paper-making history at Lozoya’s Valley since the late fourteenth century to the present, with the following objectives:

  • To introduce the characteristics of the trade and its cultural, economic and social environment, so that everyone can understand how life has been in this territory during the past 600 years.
  • To disseminate this knowledge while creating new channels of communication with schools, universities and associations that will increase the quality of life of our society, projecting new solutions and putting them into practice.
  • Concrete and practical alternatives to the territory of the National Park of Guadarrama that create jobs as well as a sustainable development.
